2012  BOYS  SOCCER  TRYOUTS

• You can pre-register for Tryouts by going to our Registration Page and selecting "Tryout Registration". There is no cost to register or attend Tryouts for the Velocity or Impact programs. By pre-registering, we can advise you of any change of location and time that may occur, plus it will speed up your check in process on the day of registration.
• Check out or Velocity FC (Girls Program) or Impact FC (Boys Program) information pages for information about the teams holding tryouts. Click on the team name on the left side of the page to view coaching information about a specific team.
• Click on our Field Locations page for a map link and address to the fields.
• Advise the coach, or the club, if your son/daughter will only be able to attend one of the tryouts. It is highly recommended that all players attend both tryout sessions.

During the Tryouts:

• Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in. If you have not pre-registered, please arrive at least 20 minutes to complete the Tryout Registration form. You may also download a copy and bring it with you, but on-line registration is the recommended option.
• Bring only clear liquids to the field (no color drinks are allowed). A snack is also recommended.
• Wear shin guards, socks, shorts, and either soccer cleats or turf shoes. Tryouts will be held on a turf field.
• Do not leave until the coaches have had an opportunity to speak to you. Some players may be asked to stay longer. Coaches may also have information to hand out to parents.
• Parents are only allowed in the stands at Renton Stadium, or outside the fence at Lindbergh High School.

• Players may be offered a spot on a team at the tryout, or after the tryots have concluded.
• Some teams may hold a third tryout session. You will be contacted if your son or daughter is asked to come out to the third session.
• Players who are not offered a spot will be contacted and advised of other possible opportunities within our club, or within Greater Renton Junior Soccer Association. It is our goal to place all players on a team, either within our club, or outside our club.
• Parents will be provided with information on how to Register once their son/daughter has been placed on a team.
